Rob Furse
Rob Furse

President

Rob is co-founder and President of Echelon Wealth Partners (formerly Euro Pacific Canada). He is a serial entrepreneur, with more than 15 years of corporate finance, capital markets technology and project management experience. Prior to co-founding Euro Pacific in 2010, Rob founded and successfully exited an online furniture importing business and managed a successful information technology consulting practice. Rob brings a unique approach to capital markets services, based on his varied business background. He has an honours degree from Queen's University.

David Cusson
David Cusson

Chief Executive Officer

David is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Echelon Wealth Partners (formerly Euro Pacific Canada). He has more than 23 years of experience in the investment industry, with a specialization in wealth management and capital markets. Prior to founding Euro Pacific in 2010 David held senior roles at a number of independent investment dealers including Chief Operating Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, Director of Research and Co-Director of Capital Markets. Throughout his career, David has always taken an active role in the investment industry. In 2012, he was elected as a member of the Ontario District Council for the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada for a two-year term.

Kevin Sullivan
Kevin Sullivan

Chairman

Kevin Sullivan was appointed as the Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors for Echelon Wealth Partners in 2022. Kevin is the President of KMS Capital Ltd., a Toronto-based advisory firm. Previously, he was at GMP Capital Inc. since its inception, serving as President from 1996 – 1999 and as CEO of GMP Capital from 1999-2010. He also co-founded Richardson GMP. Kevin has over 30 years of experience and relationships in the capital market industry. As CEO of GMP, he oversaw the creation and growth of GMP Securities LP, GMP Securities Europe LLP and Richardson GMP. He also helped facilitate GMP’s IPO in 2003.

James Hunter
James Hunter

Head of Wealth Management

James is Head of Wealth Management at Echelon Wealth Partners.  He has worked in the industry for over 25 years.  Prior to joining Echelon, James held roles as an Investment Advisor, Branch Manager, and Regional Director at bank-owned firms in both Calgary and Toronto.  James is actively involved in the investment industry and is a member of the Investment Industry Association of Canada’s Private Client Committee.  He is a graduate of both Bishop’s University (BA) and Boston University (MSc).
